- What Kinds of Schools Do You Sell?+
Bailey Routzong works with owners of licensed for-profit preschools, Montessori schools, and private elementary schools with a license capacity of at least 120. Additionally, we assist school real estate owners in the disposition of their real estate assets and development of new facilities.
- Will You List My School for Sale on Your Website?+
Bailey Routzong enters into confidential engagement agreements with the school owner. We understand there could be a material impact should your staff or parents become aware of your interest in considering the sale of your school business, therefore, all action taken is on a confidential basis. Schools are marketed to buyers in an “off-market” basis, and all buyers sign a non-disclosure agreement with the school owner prior to receiving any information.
- Do You Offer Operational Consulting to Improve My Business?+
After an analysis of your school’s operations and financials, if in our expert opinion your school is not ready to go to market, we will provide you with some recommendations on how to improve the school business and/or related real estate’s value. If during our discussions, it is determined that an outside consultant is necessary to increase the total value, we will provide you with references to those sources.
- Are You a Broker?+
In the traditional sense of the word we are a broker, but Bailey Routzong is not a traditional broker. The company, as you can see from our history, was created to assist individual school owners and create a level playing field for you in this industry when you are ready to sell. The majority of our team comes directly from the school industry, and we work exclusively in this industry. What Bailey Routzong provides our clients through our knowledge and insight cannot be provided by a traditional broker.
- Can You Work With Non-Profit and Charter Schools?+
We are currently working exclusively in the for-profit school industry. We hope to open a division to address non-profit and charter schools in the future, but we are unable to assist those owners with their business model at this time. However, if the school real estate is owned by a for-profit entity, which is sometimes the case, we may be able to assist you in a sale/leaseback opportunity, which could permit you to pull equity from your real estate to invest back into the school business.
- Do You Only Work in the Houston, Texas, Market?+
Bailey Routzong works nationwide. We have assisted owners in selling their school businesses and/or related real estate from the state of Washington all the way to Florida.
